Thank you to everyone that visited oktoberfest 2017 at rauchbier platz!

Oktoberfest 2017 was such a fun event - we have over 60 Avatars join one of the two Oktoberfest events that were held on 5 October.  Each one of you not only helped make this event so much fun, each of you also helped to raise money for The AERIE Fund's Think Pink campaign against breast cancer.  $1,180 was raised!

Below are some highlights of the event - thank you again for those that came to dance, drink and be merry at Oktoberfest!

The first guests to arrive at Oktoberfest were given special door prizes (Breast Cancer Make-a-Difference items).

The evening edition of Oktoberfest had many spirited rounds of Wheat, Bread and Wurst.  Team Bread and Team Wurst thought the game was rigged since Wheat won so often!

At the end of the night, the grand prize of a Founder Tax Free Village Deed was raffled off, which Terrestria Aquatica the winner!  Other evening game winners included Engineer (150 COTOs for Wheat, Bread, Wurst and the runner-up raffle prize), Nataurz took home a rare White Rottweiler Pet for winning a round of W,B,W, Draugur a White Lynx pet for winning W,B,W, and Stryker Sparhawk won 15 COTOs playing Let's Make a Deal. A huge thank you to Justyn who happened to be doing her weekly DJ set on WRFB and was kind enough to join us and provide fabulous music to dance to! And one more huge thank you to Thexedor Markham and entire The AERIE Fund board who really are the engine that drives these great support events forward.  You all are doing such wonderful things! While the games and prizes were fun, it was a great night of fun and dancing for a wonderful cause.  I can't wait to do it again next year!
